Time at school can be one of the most stressful periods in a teenager’s life. Not only are these years of significantly physically, mentally and emotionally straining, it is also a time when schoolwork becomes increasingly difficult and the need to understand and absorb information, and then to reproduce it in exams becomes more urgent. Deciding on a future career path can also be stressful.

Repeated and prolonged exposure to these stress factors can result in chronic stress which, if ignored, can lead to exhaustion, loss of concentration, insomnia, depression, anxiety and several other symptoms.
Just as there are many sources of stress in a teenager’s life, there are many ways in which they can be mitigated.
Fundamental to me is to support you to become aware of the amazing potential you have inside yourselves and to acknowledge what is already working well in your lives.
Together we train to learn to recognize what is triggering your stress, and to grow resources to help you to take conscious actions. So, we strive to reduce the negative and grow the positive.
I will show you several methods to reduce your stress, exam anxiety and blockages (positive thinking, tapping, guided imaginary, Brain Gym activities), and introduce you to some practical mindfulness tools for everyday life. These include relaxation practices, finding an inner anchor of stability, how to deal with difficult emotions, and more.
Since mindful presence can be brought to anything you do, these tools will help you to feel centred before beginning an assessment, or if necessary, even while working on it.
Knowing how to better manage school stresses can help you perform at your fullest potential all day every day.
